I love making period costumes and I was happy with the opportunity to make the Victorian costume for Caroline Chisholm in the acclaimed television series Australia: The Story of Us. It was a great honour to be involved in the launch of Paspaley’s Crown Melbourne boutique.
I was commissioned to create costumes and a textile print that reflected the new boutique’s luminous pearl stand facade.
The pearl stand artwork was digitally printed onto silk duchess satin and made into full skirts with a silk organza overlay.
Stephanie Powell from Home Beautiful commissioned me to make a silk organza slip cover for the chair in the top image, and add a bustle to the mannequin that I upholster for EDIT. The resulting shoot is dreamy and romantic and it was really great to involved!
Donna Hay magazine commissioned me to make these feathered wings for their kids issue which set off a chain reaction of making more feathered wings for little girls rooms!
